The Gönyeli Alayköy Municipality, in collaboration with the Gönyeli Police Station, identified and charged the offender.
Gönyeli-Alayköy Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu confirmed the penalty and reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward such behavior.
Mayor Amcaoğlu stated:
“Today, regarding the driver who discarded sunflower seeds on the road, a situation that has been a public concern all day, our police unit, in cooperation with the Gönyeli Police Station, identified the driver and imposed the necessary penalty.
I want to emphasize once again that we will not tolerate such actions. While maintaining environmental and road cleanliness is our responsibility, citizens must also contribute to this effort.
